These are sad, sad days. Poor GL. However, it doesn't say much that the soap in the #4 position is only .5 away from the soap in last place. Ten years ago, these numbers would've gotten every one of these shows cancelled. Then look at Days. They used to DOMINATE 18-49 like nobody's business. Now they're at the bottom. Oh, how the mighty hath fallen. |

Thanks Steve. Looking at these ratings are giving me a headache. I've given Dena Higley a lot of chances and her many chances are over. It is time for Dena to go once and for all. She needs to stay fay away from Daytime TV. |

As much as I don't like Dena Higley, I think it's pretty hard to blame her entirely for the ratings when you look at an awesomely well-written soap like OLTL and they are only 0.1 ahead of DAYS, AMC and ATWT. |

It's sad to see these numbers, but even more sad to know that some of them are deserved (yes, I'm talking about you, GL). |

But just to clarify... she does deserve some blame for DAYS's demos going to hell in a handbasket. Those are just fucking ridiculous. |

She was having fun with the interview. She laughed a lot. lol She doesn't look like the SOD pic. I guess now we know why DOOL can't afford sets. |

Well, I said last week I felt Days had to hit a 2.0 but considering everyone is tanking with them and they are now tied for 5th in HH with a pathetic 1.9 and are closed to beating OLTL and ending up in 4th in total viewers I don't think they had to this week. These ratings stink. GL I think is gone within 6 months. It's just getting worse. AMC is tanking again. Y&R is stuck in a rut. OLTL is the best soap right now but it gets a 2.0. Just further drives home the point that quality means shit. The ratings are reflective of events and action now and nothing more. Go blow something up and watch the numbers rise. Seriously. Days will have awful numbers next week, as usual, so I expect bad next week. Actually, alot of people seem to have taken off for vacations early this year (some on Wednesday) with the 4th on Friday so I think other soaps may do poorly too. We'll see. |

People say that OLTL is awesome right now but I don't see it. I watch it on Soapnet now and then and it is so boring I always lose interest before the episode is over. There aren't any female heroines my age that are rootable characters and none of the guys are very attractive looking. The stories are very drawn out and slow moving. A lot of the acting is subpar. I used to love Tina but the time to bring her back was 10 years ago when people still cared about the character. They are over her now. AMC, don't get me started! That show is pure garbage and has been forever now. The only story I have cared about on that show in the last 20 years is Tad and Dixie. Days is a trainwreck. They piss on every fanbase. It's like the writers hate the fans and just want them to tune out. I finally gave up and quit watching - it was irritating me so much. With the extra time, I have been hitting the gym more and feeling a lot better. Thanks Dena!! |

I can't blame the demo numbers on Corday. They are all Higley and they are atrocious. Even with the small rebound this week, they are horrible. |
